Presidential Quote of the Day: 1.13.11
deadpresidents: “I believe we can be better.  Those who died here, those who saved lives here — they help me believe.  We may not be able to stop all evil in the world, but I know that how we treat one another is entirely up to us.” — Barack Obama (1961-     ), 44th President of the United States (2009-     ), at the memorial for victims of the assassination attempt on Rep. there is so much i don't know about my mother.
while my mom and i were watching ricky martin on oprah today:
mom: wait, so did his mom know he was gay?
me: well probably, since when he told her he was in love the next thing she asked was "with a man?" like, if i cut off my hair and started playing softball and drove a subaru, you might think i was gay.
mom: lesbians play softball?
me: sometimes, i guess. it's a dumb stereotype, i don't know.
mom: lesbians also like bowling.
me: they do?
mom: yeah, one time i joined a bowling league. then i found out they were all lesbians. true story, ask your father.
